Everton are seeking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League, with Leeds United next up for the Toffees.

David Moyes masterminded an amazing result last weekend against Aston Villa, which has put Everton in a really promising position.

Following yesterday’s results, Everton have slipped a place to 11th in the table. But three points tomorrow night against Leeds would see them move up several spots.

There was bad news for Everton this week as Jack Grealish suffered an injury that looks set to keep him out for months.

But Moyes has a number of key players back, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jarrad Brathwaite and Charly Alcaraz having all resumed training.

Idrissa Gana Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye are also back after their successful AFCON.

Daniel Farke praised Everton in the week, suggesting Leeds should aspire to be like the Toffees in terms of becoming stable.

He also spoke of the difficulty of facing a David Moyes team.

Certainly, if Moyes can reproduce what we saw against Villa, then Everton will stand a golden chance of picking up all three points.

One suspects it’ll be a very different game though.

Ahead of the clash, Alan Shearer has dropped his verdict, believing that a draw is in store.

He said in the Metro: “What a result for Everton last week at Villa; not many thought they could go there and win.

“But I’ve been impressed with Leeds, just their attitude and how the manager has them playing. I think they’ll go to the Hill Dickinson Stadium and get something.”

Pundit Chris Sutton is also predicting a draw between Everton and Leeds, and feels Dominic Calvert-Lewin will find the net.

Paul Merson, however, thinks Leeds will win and Everton will struggle in Jack Grealish’s absence.

Everton need Hill Dickinson Stadium win

Everton could do with picking up three points against Leeds and getting back on track at home.

The Toffees have just started to stumble a bit at the Hill Dickinson Stadium of late, which is not really ideal. Thankfully, Everton have been good on their travels.

But to make a serious push for European football, Everton need to make their home a fortress.

With four losses at the Hill Dickinson already, it hasn’t been the solid start most were hoping for. But hopefully the momentum going into the game after the win at Villa will prove helpful.
