Everton fans are hoping to see the club bring in some extra firepower this month.
On Saturday, Everton put in another toothless showing against Bournemouth in the Premier League, losing 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium.
Everton didn’t have a single shot on goal, thus not adding to their paltry goal tally of 15 in the league in 16 matches.
Pundit Chris Sutton blasted that ‘unbelievable’ 15 goals scored tally, in a verdict that many Everton fans will no doubt agree with.
New owners The Friedkin Group have a big few weeks ahead of them, as they seek to work with Kevin Thelwell to reinforce Sean Dyche’s squad.
But Dyche’s position at Everton is seemingly safe for now, with TFG seeking a new CEO.
One player Everton are thought to be interested in right now is Hamza Igamane, and on the evidence of last night, the club may now need to step up their pursuit.
Everton target Hamza Igamane scores hat-trick for Rangers

It was reported in December that Everton sent scouts to watch Rangers striker Hamza Igamane against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League.
Journalist Graeme Bailey told Everton News a couple of weeks ago: “Igamane is a hugely impressive young forward, he really has stood out for Rangers this year and it’s not a surprise to see him attracting interest.
“I am told Everton watched him against Spurs, but that isn’t the first time they have watched. Hard to see Rangers letting him out in January, but one to keep an eye on.”
If Everton officials have continued to monitor the youngster, then they likely would have loved what they saw last night.
Igamane hit a hat-trick for Rangers in their game against Hibernian. His first was a well-taken finish inside the area, after he kept a long, hopeful punt downfield alive.
Then, he scored with a header that was too hot to handle for goalkeeper Jordan Smith.
Igamane completed his hat-trick on 74 minutes, scoring from another cross with a first-time finish.
Igamane could make a good Beto replacement at Everton
What was most notable about the goals Igamane scored against Hibs was the movement.
The finishes were really good, but the way he found himself in space was also impressive – and this is something that might appeal to Everton.
Seemingly, Dyche could be about to lose Beto.

It’s been reported that Beto could join Torino, with Everton in talks with them over a loan with an obligation to buy deal.
At this point, it would be a surprise if Beto stuck around, given his lack of starts under Dyche.
If the Portuguese was to leave, then Igamane has certainly made a decent case to be his replacement, having now taken his goal tally to 11 goals in 22 games this season.
