Liverpool manager Arne Slot has faced the media for the first time since their draw against Everton on Wednesday night.
The final Merseyside Derby to be held at Goodison Park ended in chaotic fashion with red cards being brandished left, right and centre.
Slot was one of the recipients to a sending off by referee Michael Oliver following the full time whistle.
David Moyes admitted Abdoulaye Doucoure disappointed him by getting himself sent off after goading the Liverpool fans.
However, Everton fans were left delighted after coming away from the final derby at Goodison with such a climactic ending.
The Toffees have been much improved under Moyes, and it is now apparent Slot’s plans on Wednesday night were foiled by the Blues.

Arne Slot moots Everton praise after Liverpool draw
Slot was furious with Everton fans on Wednesday night as he felt they were winning their side free kicks with their atmosphere.
The Goodison crowd created a real cauldron atmosphere against the Reds, but the players also put a shift in on the pitch.
Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Slot admitted Liverpool’s usual attacking patterns were disrupted by the Blues.
“It was clear our midfield and whole team couldn’t get our players into attacking positions,” said the Dutchman.
“We scored two goals and created maybe two-and-a-half chances.”
Big praise from the Liverpool boss, who has been forced to admit his league-leading side were halted from their usual game by the Toffees.
Everton had Liverpool rattled with their performance and even after the full-time whistle with bedlam breaking loose after the game.
Doucoure silenced Virgil van Dijk after the whistle, but Moyes is going to have to cope without the midfielder for Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace.
Arne Slot also praised Everton manager David Moyes
It has been quite the return to Merseyside for the 61-year-old after being appointed last month.
Moyes has proven many pundits wrong with the likes of Paul Merson suggesting sacking Sean Dyche for Moyes was a sideways step.
Although the Everton boss will insist there is still a lot of work to be done at Goodison, he will be delighted with the start he has made back at the club.
And it was apparent Slot has also been impressed by how Moyes has turned Everton around over the last month.
“We didn’t play our best game in terms of ball possession but I have to give credit to David Moyes, done a tremendous job and made it really hard for us,” Slot added.
With such a quick turnaround and so many players injured, Moyes will be hoping the hard work does not come undone against the Eagles on Saturday.
