Everton got into the win column against Brighton and Hove Albion in their first-ever game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Toffees came away 2-0 victors in front of 52,000 Evertonians, with Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner on the scoresheet.
Jack Grealish stole the show, though, with two assists on his full debut, whilst Thierno Barry also impressed.
After the game, Everton manager David Moyes was asked whether fans can expect more signings before the window slams shut on September 1st and he gave a very direct answer.

David Moyes shares whether Everton will make more signings
Speaking to Sky Sports, Moyes was pretty honest when asked if Everton would do more transfer business in the remaining eight days of the window.
“Yes, definitely,” the Scotsman said. He also added: “We need to score more goals. One thing I don’t want to lose is the spirit on the pitch. We want more flair and quality.”
That indicates that the Toffees will look to make additions in attacking areas, with Tyler Dibling set to become Moyes’ eighth signing of the summer.
Everton are also being linked with a move for Adama Bojang, who is a promising young striker for French outfit Reims.
Yves Bissouma is another one being eyed by Moyes and his chiefs, with Tottenham Hotspur looking for around £12-14m.
David Moyes gives verdict on Jack Grealish’s Everton debut
Moyes handed full debuts to Barry and Grealish this afternoon and he gave his verdict on the Manchester City loanee’s performance.
“That’s what we have been hoping for and waiting for,” the 62-year-old explained.
“We want to add that extra quality and that’s what we are trying to do. Kiernan (Dewsbury-Hall) and Jack both played exceptionally well.
“We are thrilled we are adding a bit more quality and we need to score some more goals which we did today.”
Grealish registered two assists, which he had only managed to do once across his entire four years at Man City.
