Everton relied heavily on Jordan Pickford against West Ham prior to the international break. He made an impressive six saves in what as arguably his best performance of the season.
This led to Julen Lopetegui praising Pickford after the game as he called him one of Everton’s best.
He followed things up with an outstanding performance against Greece, as well as a respectable display against the Republic of Ireland.
Now he’s set to return to Everton with a clash with Brentford coming up at the weekend.

Jordan Pickford has been called into question for errors at time for the Three Lions, especially after gifting Greece a goal back at Wembley in September.
However, he’s stuck at it and is enjoying a purple patch right now.
It’s safe to say that Pickford’s performance against Greece in the return fixture last week was nothing short of sensational, and it left the national media buzzing.
David Seaman certainly liked what he saw as he spoke highly of Pickford on his podcast, Seaman Says.
“I’d put that up there with one of his best. Because you know the way that he reacted to the previous game, you know he was so good in every single aspect. You know like shot-stopping, even crosses coming out, you know punching crosses, distribution, sweeping up the ball.
“So credit to Jordan because it was a good game for him.”
Reaction to Jordan Pickford’s displays for England this past week
Jordan Pickford started both of England’s games during the international break against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.
Interestingly, Pickford moved onto 73 caps for England, putting him level with Gordon Banks.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer were very complimentary of Pickford, hailing him for the two saves he pulled off to keep England’s clean sheet in tact.
England fans even called Pickford one of the best goalkeepers to ever wear the shirt.
