Everton return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the third time in less than a week on Saturday to face Sunderland in the FA Cup.
There’s no two ways about it, David Moyes needs to get back to winning ways having dropped points from two winnable games for the Blues.
It will be no easy task as Everton have drawn the Premier League’s surprise package, Sunderland, in the Third Round of the FA Cup.
Moyes was furious after Everton’s draw against Wolves as he has now lost another two of his senior players ahead of the game against his former side.
One win in their last six will have seen frustrations arise from certain fans as the Blues have opened the year with just one point from a possible six.
With the form at the Hill Dickinson Stadium leaving a lot to be desired of late, the club have now shared details for a stadium first for the game against Sunderland.

Everton set for Hill Dickinson Stadium first vs Sunderland
Already this season, the Friedkins helped to fund the Everton tifo display for the game against Arsenal ahead of Christmas.
Recent results on the docks will have naturally left some feeling slightly deflated, with the prospect of a cup run potentially drawing some back in.
Ahead of the game on Saturday, Everton shared over social media the plans for another fan display organised by the brilliant 1878s.
How far are you expecting Everton to go in this year’s FA Cup? 🫣
‘To mark the first FA Cup game at Hill Dickinson Stadium, flags will be displayed in the South Stand,’ read the announcement.
‘Supporters are encouraged to wave flags during team introductions. Members of the 1878s will be at the bottom of each block after the display to hand flags back to.’
Everton fans have shared some concerns about the new stadium, with most of the issues largely being experienced outside of the ground.
However, the atmosphere will need a boost on the back of the recent displays on home soil and there will be the hope that this display will help to rival what is going to be a loud away end filled with thousands of Mackems.
Everton need to nail down some better Hill Dickinson Stadium form
Being able to win games at home should be the backbone of Everton’s road to the European spots, but it simply has not been that way of late.
After what was a positive start, heavy defeats against the likes of Brentford and a draw to Wolves have acted as a real sucker punch.
Fans need something to cheer about on home soil and the players are simply not providing that at the moment.
The FA Cup should be of huge importance to everyone at the club as it offers Everton an opportunity to end their trophy drought.
However, the Blues are going to have to improve their home form if they are going to achieve anything in any competition this season.
