Everton are finding themselves battling Leeds United quite a lot ahead of the summer transfer window.
David Moyes has been able to secure his side Premier League football for next season after a stunning three months in charge on Merseyside.
And the same can be said for Daniel Farke, who has now sealed promotion to the Premier League with the Whites.
Everton are keen to appoint Nick Hammond and Gary Penrice from Leeds, though, as the Blues look to make some big changes behind the scenes.
It is not just off the pitch where Everton and Leeds are butting heads.
The two clubs are also in the frame for a number of the same players this summer, and it seems a decision has now been made on one of their futures.

Manor Solomon decides between joining Everton or Leeds United
Ahead of the summer, Everton have shown an interest in Manor Solomon who looks set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
However, the Blues are coming up against Leeds for his signature after his successful loan spell at Elland Road.
According to GiveMeSport, a decision has now been made by the winger, and it is not one Everton fans will want to hear.
The 25-year-old has spent the 2024/25 campaign down in the second tier with the Yorkshire outfit following a dismal spell in north London.
Tottenham are believed to value Solomon at £20m this summer following his impressive displays in the Championship.
And it seems the winger has already made up his mind as to where he’d like to play his football next season on the back of the promotion-clinching campaign.
Jack Harrison is expected to return to Leeds at the end of his Everton loan, which is going to have Everton in real need of strengthening their options.

Everton were unlikely to land Solomon over Leeds
Having enjoyed such a successful season in front of goal for Leeds, it was always going to be a huge task for Everton to sign Solomon.
The Spurs forward has excelled in the Championship and will now be looking forward to potentially returning to Elland Road.
| 2024/25 | Total |
| Appearances | 37 |
| Minutes | 2427 |
| Goals | 9 |

It has been suggested Solomon wants to play Premier League football next season.
Perhaps Everton could have been an option for him had Leeds not gained promotion, but that was confirmed on Easter Monday.
Everton are prioritising forward additions this summer, and their recent showings have highlighted the need for just that.
