Everton are preparing for the exciting move to Bramley-Moore Dock this summer.

An emotional goodbye awaits Everton over the coming weeks as the club get ready to bid farewell to Goodison Park.

Ipswich Town marks the penultimate game to be held in L4 before Southampton make the final trip to the Old Lady, with a date now confirmed for the Goodison Park finale.

As sad as the goodbye may be, the move to Bramley-Moore Dock is marking a huge step forward in what the Friedkins will be hoping is a fresh beginning for the club.

Everton are expecting to increase revenue by £60m per year when they make the move into the state-of-the-art facility.

It truly is set to be a major development for the club, which could see Everton finally make the leap back towards competing with some of the Premier League’s bigger clubs.

And there could be even more exciting developments on Merseyside.

Marc Watts moots exciting Everton financial boost

The move to Bramley-Moore Dock is set to see Everton’s finances completely transform from their recent struggles.

Everton are eyeing a lucrative stadium naming rights deal, with the likes of Qatar Airways having already been mooted.

Speaking to the Financial Times, club chairman Marc Watts has alluded to the possibility of the finances seeing a big boost through new sponsorships.

Watts described the American market as a “huge opportunity” for the Toffees.

“People love the kit, so we’ll take full advantage of that,” he added.

Everton are also going to be on the lookout for a new front-of-shirt sponsor following a recent court hearing.

Given the leap forward the club are looking to take this summer, this could be yet another massive opportunity to boost the club’s finances.

Everton could land major sponsorship deal

Moyes was impressed by his Bramley-Moore Dock visit earlier in the month, and that will act as a big plus when the club are looking to find new sponsors.

Being able to boast a stadium of this calibre will only act in Everton’s favour.

Previously speaking to Everton News, TBR Football’s Finance Expert Adam Williams shared what type of figures Everton could be looking at with a new sponsor.

“Everton’s leverage with new sponsors increases overnight once they are playing at Bramley Moore Dock too,” Williams said.

“Aston Villa and Newcastle are getting £20-25m per season at present. I see no reason why Everton can’t match that.

“It also wouldn’t be a surprise to see stadium naming rights rolled into that deal, in which case I think you could be pushing £35-40m. Any naming rights deal would be at least 10 years, as the CEO has said, so that could theoretically be £350-400m of guaranteed commercial income for Everton.”
