Everton are putting the right people in place behind the scenes in preparation for an exciting summer transfer window.

Paired with the move to Bramley-Moore Dock, the American owners are going to have their work cut out in their first summer at the club.

The positive news is the Friedkins are ready to back David Moyes in the market as they look to bolster squad depth and quality.

And it seems there is more good news as there is one player who has now told his agent to push through a deal to join Everton.

Moses Simon wants to make summer move to Everton

With their attack failing to really impress this season, Everton are keen to add new forwards this summer when the market opens.

Defensively, the Toffees have been solid, but there has been a real lack of quality at the other end of the pitch.

According to Africa Foot, Nantes winger Moses Simon has now given the green light for a potential move to Everton.

The forward has now informed his agent to do everything possible to push through a move to play under Moyes.

It is claimed Everton are pushing on their end and could land themselves a bargain as the 29-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal.

Everton are also tracking Tom Fellows from West Brom as they look to bolster their options out wide.

With Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom potentially returning to their parent clubs, it is an area which is going to need addressing.

Who is Moses Simon?

By no means is the Nigerian a household name in England, with the majority of his career in France and across various loan spells.

However, Moyes wants more from his wingers than what the likes of Harrison and Lindstrom have provided this season.

Simon has enjoyed an impressive campaign in Ligue 1 with Nantes and could make the same leap to the Premier League which Iliman Ndiaye did last summer.

Signing players who are unproven in the Premier League will always pose a risk, but the big positive is the player is desperate to wear the Everton shirt.
