Everton are set to see both players and staff leave the club over the coming weeks.
Contracts are perhaps the biggest talking point on Merseyside as Everton prepare for the Friedkins’ first summer transfer window.
David Moyes is going to need one busy summer market to replace some of the players who look set to depart the club.
But it is not just players who are set to leave at the end of their deals.
Kevin Thelwell is leaving Everton at the end of the season as the new owners look to move on from the director of football.
Work is already being made on Merseyside to replace Thelwell, with Everton eyeing a double Leeds United raid for two of their chiefs.
And it seems Thelwell may already have his next move lined up.

Kevin Thelwell set to leave Everton for Rangers
Despite being set to leave, Thelwell remains hard at work at Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.
But it will be well known that he’ll also be working on his future in the background.
According to the Daily Mail, Thelwell is now on the brink of becoming the new director of football at Rangers.
Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart has identified Thelwell as the man for the job and it is believed his appointment could be imminent.
However, Thelwell may also be looking at what he could potentially take from Merseyside up to Glasgow.
Nathan Patterson has been linked with Rangers already this year, with his time at Everton not exactly going to plan.
The ‘tremendous’ right-back has struggled with injuries as he’s failed to really claim his spot in the starting XI.
Patterson, of course, joined from Rangers back in 2022, but Thelwell’s imminent move could help him seal a return to Ibrox.

What Nathan Patterson recently said about Rangers
After enduring his struggles, Patterson has been keen to leave Everton to seek further first-team opportunities elsewhere.
Moyes has warned Patterson to up his game, but the reality is he has not really been given the opportunity with Jake O’Brien flourishing.
Three years on from leaving Glasgow, it has been made apparent Patterson’s roots have not left the defender.
Speaking to the Everton media team, the 23-year-old shared his love for the club when discussing his first-ever football shirt.
“It probably would have been a Rangers strip from when I was younger. So, yeah a Rangers top,” said Patterson.
The right-back is still under contract at Everton, but it has been made apparent he would like to play regular football, and he is not getting that at Everton.
