Everton are going to go into the summer transfer window potentially needing a long list of players.
David Moyes has done a sensational job with the options he has following what has been a turbulent season, on the whole.
Along with injuries, Everton have been limited in what they have been able to spend in recent transfer windows.
This summer is going to have to be different, with numerous players nearing the end of their current deals on Merseyside.
Everton are expected to be active in the summer market as they eye both upgrades and replacements.
Speaking to Everton News, TBR Football’s Chief Transfer Correspondent Graeme Bailey has shared the Toffees’ interest in one player from the Championship.

Everton keen on Sunderland’s Dennis Cirkin
After landing back on Merseyside in January, Moyes has been keen to sign a new full-back with a real lack of depth at left-back, in particular.
According to Bailey’s sources, Sunderland left-back Dennis Cirkin is a player who is on the radar at Goodison Park.
“Dennis Cirkin is an outstanding talent and has enjoyed a brilliant campaign. I am told that a lot of Premier League clubs are following him closely,” he told Everton News.
“Everton are in the market for full-backs this summer and they are one of those who have done work on Cirkin this season. He is an intriguing prospect.”
Cirkin has nailed down the starting spot at left-back on Wearside, having established himself as one of the best in the Championship.

Everton fans have mixed feelings on Vitaliy Mykolenko, with the Ukraine international receiving praise and criticism this season.
But the reality is Everton are in desperate need of another option to provide competition for Mykolenko.
What Jose Mourinho said about Dennis Cirkin
Cirkin joined the Black Cats back in 2021 from Tottenham Hotspur in a search of more regular opportunities in men’s football.
Despite still only being 22-years-old, Cirkin has racked up a whopping 108 appearances for Sunderland.
Although he never actually played any minutes in the Tottenham first-team, it was apparent those around the club felt he was a youngster with a lot of potential.
Speaking about the left-back in 2019, Jose Mourinho admitted Cirkin was a player he had already been made aware of at the tender age of 17.
“I couldn’t be at the game, but I watched on video our youth team playing in the [UEFA Youth League], and we also have [Dennis Cirkin],” he said [0:50].
“OK, he’s 17, but he’s a kid with a lot of quality, and I look forward to bringing him to train with us, and to help his development.”
For any clubs interested, an interesting few months will lie ahead with Cirkin’s future potentially depending on whether Sunderland achieve promotion.
