Everton have been involved in the January transfer window, with David Moyes keen on making signings to try to help the Toffees avoid the drop.
When David Moyes arrived at Everton, he knew it was an uphill battle, and would need reinforcements in the window. But the glaring issue? PSR.
Everton are a club that is struggling financially, so although signings were needed, it wasn’t always going to be guaranteed.
Saying that a few deals have been done, but Moyes will have wanted more. The big news of transfer deadline day was about Carlos Alcaraz to Everton on loan.
Alcaraz was confirmed in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a deal sheet and a nervy wait for Toffees supporters.
The deal agreed between Everton and Flamengo for Alcaraz to return to the Premier League will be an initial loan transfer.
Yet the terms of his move could see the switch later become a permanent arrangement should Alcaraz impress in Everton’s final months at Goodison.
Elsewhere, Harrison Armstrong has joined Derby County over a loan move until the end of the season. This comes after signing a new contract at Goodison Park.
But who else has been completed? Here’s a list of all the business the Toffees got up to in January 2025.
