Everton fans may be sweating as one Premier League side faces PSR punishment by the Premier League.
The Toffees have been there before, having been served a points deduction during their time with Farhad Moshiri as the owner.
A new chapter has been opened at Everton now with new owners in The Friedkin Group and a new manager looking to pull the Toffees away from the bottom three.
Everton have had to consider PSR in the January window as the recent years under Moshiri could cause some issues if the Friedkins were to spend heavily.
But as one Premier League club awaits their punishment, Alan Myers has shared whether he’s heard that club is Everton, or not.

Everton will not face PSR punishment by the Premier League
The Friedkin Group are looking to sign two players for Everton in the January window, with improvement to the squad needed.
According to The Guardian, there is one club in the Premier League who are now sweating over potential punishment for breaching PSR.
But taking to social media, Myers has reassured Everton fans that he has heard it will not be a repeat of last year for the Toffees.
“I’m told we should be ok,” replied the Sky Sports reporter to a fan.
This will come as a major boost for The Friedkin Group who are looking to make an immediate impact on Merseyside.
Everton are showing interest in Ernest Nuamah this month and finding themselves in PSR issues again would certainly make a deal a lot more complicated.
Everton cannot afford another points deduction
The Toffees were dragged into the relegation battle last season due to the points deductions which were handed to them due to the PSR breaches.
This time around, Everton already find themselves just one point above the bottom three.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 16 | 19 | 3 | 8 | 8 | 15 | 25 | -10 | 17 |
David Moyes’ appointment will provide optimism for things to come on Merseyside, but a points deduction would certainly have put a dampener on proceedings.
Since being appointed, Moyes has already highlighted the issues caused by Moshiri and Sean Dyche.
And he does not have to wait long to be welcomed back to Goodison Park with two games to be played there this week.
