Everton’s summer transfer plans are being pushed closer and closer to their summer pre-season trip to the United States.
David Moyes has made his transfer demands clear, as the Scot would like to see more players arrive in time for takeoff.
The summer window has got off to a steady start on Merseyside, with Everton securing Thierno Barry’s signature.
But the other business done was expected after Carlos Alcaraz signed permanently and a backup goalkeeper was added.
Everton want to improve their attacking options following years of struggles in front of goal.
And the Toffees have now been informed that one of their targets has a release clause, which could encourage Angus Kinnear towards a deal.

Everton informed of Bilal El Khannouss’ Leicester City release clause
Everton have shown an interest in Bilal El Khannouss of Leicester City this summer, as a potential option to improve their forward line.
This is a player who has been valued in the region of £40m following an encouraging season at the King Power Stadium.
According to TalkSPORT, Everton could sign him for around half of that valuation this summer.
It is believed that El Khannouss has a £22.5m relegation release clause in his contract, which could help Everton land a bargain.
Despite signing El Khannouss just last summer for £20m, the Foxes now face losing their creative spark for just a £2.5m profit.
Everton are not alone in their interest, though. The following clubs were also credited in the report as keen to sign the Moroccan:
- Sunderland
- Nottingham Forest
- Monaco
- Bayer Leverkusen
Everton are also considering a return for Jack Harrison, but fans will want to see money spent on that position.
The lack of goals coming from players aside from Iliman Ndiaye and Beto was a concern, and additions have to be made.
What Pep Guardiola said about Bilal El Khannouss
Last season, in a struggling Leicester side, El Khannouss returned two goals and three assists in the Premier League.
Speaking after the game between Leicester and City, Pep Guardiola personally sought out El Khannouss to offer him praise.
“He said he was impressed by my play today. I am not. I know myself and this is the player I can be. I have to show that every week now,” the Leicester man said.
Clearly, this is a player who is still developing, but the approval of Guardiola has to speak volumes with clubs all across Europe looking to sign him.
