Everton will now be pushing for any last arrivals before they jet off for the United States.

It has not exactly been the electric start to the summer that Everton fans would have been dreaming of.

David Moyes is demanding more signings, having only added three players, including Carlos Alcaraz.

Of course, there is still time this summer for Angus Kinnear to turn things around in the market, but he has a serious amount of work to sort out before the new season.

Everton are focusing on improving their attacking options, but the reality is that new additions are needed across the entire squad.

Jack Grealish is a target for Everton this summer, and there may have now been a shift to give them hope of securing his services.

Manchester City offer Everton transfer hope of signing Jack Grealish

Last week, Grealish issued an emotional Man City message, as the winger’s future looks increasingly likely to be away from the Etihad Stadium.

Grealish needs to decide his next move very carefully if he is hoping to find a way back into Thomas Tuchel’s England plans.

According to journalist Dean Jones, those close to the Citizens are now suggesting a permanent sale is not expected after valuing him at £40m.

West Ham United have just made contact over information regarding a potential loan deal for the former England international, though.

As the 29-year-old is believed to be earning around £300k-per-week, City are expected to subsidise a huge chunk of any potential deal away this summer.

Man City want Grealish’s future solved by the end of July, with Pep Guardiola’s side still enjoying their delayed summer break.

The 29-year-old forward did not play in the Club World Cup for City. So, he should be joining any side this summer with a solid base level of fitness.

Signing Grealish would be huge Everton statement

The Friedkins want to make a statement signing this summer for Everton, ahead of the move into the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Landing a player with Grealish’s credentials would certainly make a move which would catch the attention of clubs around the league.

However, the Toffees are not alone in their interest in the 29-year-old.

Newcastle United are also keen on Grealish, along with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur.

It is believed Grealish is happy in the north west, which may give Everton some advantage if the player is only going to leave on loan.
