Everton are looking to bolster their board with another addition ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The decision to make a managerial change is one which has certainly paid off for Everton with the Toffees now soaring in the Premier League.
However, The Friedkin Group still feel there is work to be done as they look to make ann addition at board level.
Everton appointed Marc Watts as their executive chairman when the takeover was confirmed back in December.
With the move to the new stadium now on the horizon, the Friedkins are looking to get their ducks in line to really progress the club.
Everton are showing an interest in Angus Kinnear of Leeds United, which has been confirmed by TBR Football’s Chief Transfer Correspondent Graeme Bailey.
And Bailey has shared some other names the Blues are also keen on.

Everton keen on Crystal Palace’s Dougie Freedman
According to sources, The Friedkin Group are ready to put in place a new ‘Footballing executive team’ which will include a CEO and a new sporting director.
Kinnear has a very good reputation and is seen as real steady hand and one who can really help – given his work at Elland Road.
Everton believes the Leeds chief has an interest in the potential move to Merseyside.

As Everton News understands, David Weir is of interest to Everton, but those close to the Brighton & Hove Albion man have played down his willingness to leave the South Coast.
There are two other names on the radar of TFG, with Dan Ashworth and Crystal Palace’s Dougie Freedman being two individuals Everton are also keen on.
Dougie Freedman committed future to Crystal Palace last year
This is not the first time Freedman has been on the radar of another Premier League club.
Just last year, Newcastle United attempted to prise Freedman away from Selhurst Park, but to no success.
Freedman showed his loyalty to the Eagles by inking a new deal in south London.
However, given Palace have been forced into selling some of their stars and do not show much progression year on year, perhaps Freedman could be tempted to join the project TFG are planning out at Everton.
