Everton are looking to make some changes to their top-end of the club with some boardroom-level appointments.

Since The Friedkin Group were handed the keys to Goodison Park, there have been some significant changes made.

Sean Dyche has made way and David Moyes has made his return to Merseyside.

But there have also been some changes made to some of the boardroom members at Goodison with Marc Watts being appointed as Everton’s executive chairman.

Big summer turnover is expected to unfold with a large number of Everton players set to see their contracts expire over the coming months.

It now seems as if there is more change potentially heading the way of the Toffees with talks ongoing over appointing one of Leeds United’s top chiefs.

Everton in talks over Leeds United’s CEO Angus Kinnear

Kevin Thelwell’s future at Everton remains unclear with his contract also set to expire at the end of the term.

And it seems as if the new Everton owners have already begun discussions in the background over other potential additions off the pitch.

According to The Telegraph, Everton have now opened talks with Leeds United’s CEO Angus Kinnear over a potential move to Merseyside.

The Whites are looking to secure automatic promotion back to the Premier League this season.

However, this may not prevent Kinnear from moving on to Everton as the Friedkins look to continue the club’s progression ahead of the move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton are hoping for a busy summer transfer window following a fairly quiet January.

And it appears the owners are already putting things in place ahead of what is going to be a huge few months for the club’s future.

Everton also eyeing David Weir

Another target for Everton is Brighton’s David Weir who has a long-term relationship with Moyes.

However, Everton News understands Weir is keen to remain at Brighton despite the interest coming from his former club.

Kinnear could prove a smart option for the Toffees given he has experience at Arsenal during their move to the Emirates Stadium.

Everton will be opening a new chapter with their move to Bramley-Moore Dock, and an experienced figure like Kinnear could be exactly what the Toffees need.
