Everton fans will be excited after the return of Harrison Armstrong following the youngster’s success at Derby County.
Fans got their first real glimpse of Everton starlet Armstrong during his loan spell with Derby in the Championship.
His efforts managed to help the Rams secure another season in the Championship, and Derby fans were impressed with Armstrong.

Everton fans seemed to share the same feeling about the 18-year-old who looked a different level in the second tier.
It’s been revealed that David Moyes plans to keep Armstrong, but Evertonians have weighed in on whether this is the right decision.

Everton fans agree on Harrison Armstrong’s future
The midfielder looks like a physical presence, and to do that at such a young age is impressive.
This is what would’ve stood out to Moyes, as the Premier League comes with immense physicality, but Armstrong has all the right credentials to flourish.
Not only was his physicality a standout, but his one goal he scored was a fine finish, which looked Premier League quality in itself.
Moyes has hinted Armstrong will be part of the squad, but fans have shared their view on the matter.
Speaking on X after it was said that Moyes plans on keeping him, Everton fans feel like a different route should be taken.
@Bluewav01715851 said: “Think Moyes has already said he’ll look at HA in pre-season and make a decision then rather than now, which makes good sense to me.”
@JayPH96 claimed: “Probs send him to a top championship team.”
@cathcart_danny agreed, saying: “Yeah, a good championship loan improves his development and then he will be ready, should have been done with (Tom) Davies many moons ago.”
“What the hecky pecky man, he’s too young for prem,” @ConnorParker10 said in disbelief.
@Guardthebee made the point: “Can’t see Armstrong getting many games at Everton.”
@shanahan_neil said: “Needs at least one more season in The Championship.”

Armstrong can be part of Everton’s squad next season
With another Championship loan move a debated decision, Everton fans should give their verdict after pre-season.
It will be a good chance to see how the youngster fits into Moyes’ plans, but there is already a clear indication that he can fit into the squad.
As mentioned, his physicality is something that stands out, and fans have been impressed with Armstrong’s ability to win duels, which gives every reason why he can compete in the big time.
| Armstrong’s defensive statistics with Derby County | |
| Games played | 15 |
| Tackles won % | 72% |
| Duels won | 58 |
| Duels won per 90 | 4.72 |
| Interceptions | 23 |
Another loan shouldn’t be ruled out however, as the benefits can be seen by playing for a higher-level team in the second tier.
For now though, Moyes doesn’t see fit to let him go just yet, and pre-season will be very telling about his future.
