A striker signing is firmly in the plans of The Friedkin Group at Everton this summer.
After the failure in signing Liam Delap, the Everton hierarchy will be looking to move on to other options available.
Previously, Evan Ferguson has been linked with Everton, as a loan deal in January looked likely at one stage.
Now, Everton once again want Ferguson, but this time it is looking like a permanent deal is possible, after the Irishman struggled on loan at West Ham.
Brighton are looking for a sale, and Everton fans have all agreed on what will happen if David Moyes signs the striker.

Everton fans convinced something will happen if Evan Ferguson is signed
The 20-year-old still remains a top talent in the Premier League but has seemingly lost his way with things.
After a goalless spell with the Hammers, Brighton might not see fit to keep the Irishman, even after Ferguson was worth £100m.
Injuries have taken its toll on the youngster, but Everton could emerge as the perfect landing spot to rejuvenate Ferguson’s career, and that’s exactly what Evertonians think will happen under Moyes.
Speaking on X, fans have suggested that the striker joining could unlock his true potential under the leadership of the Scotsman.
“#moyescanfixhim,” @Owens_EFC said.
@mattyrei1878 claimed: “Good player, needs to focus his game again, Moyes is a master at that.”
“Yes, on loan for me, he has a striker’s instinct, some of his finishing is top drawer, granted he needs to stay fit and re-find his form, but if anyone can get the best from him, it’s Moyes…” @steve0205560691 explained.
@AndrewVale_31 said: “I’d take him on loan to see if Moyes can sort him out.”
“Great signing. Moyes gets him back to his best proper Everton no 9,” @steverhoeven claimed.
@EFCevs agreed, saying: “I approve this message.”

Ferguson needs to discover his true form at Everton
It looks as though the young Irishman isn’t gonna find that spark he’s looking for at Brighton again.
With Joao Pedro in front of him and Fabian Hurzeler no doubt considering his sale, it might be the end for him with the Seagulls.
But if The Friedkins can reach a fair price for all parties concerned with Ferguson, Moyes could be the perfect mentor to help Ferguson regain his past Premier League form, which branded him with a £100m price-tag.
| Ferguson’s 2022/23 PL season with Brighton (age: 18) | |
| Games played | 19 |
| Goals | 6 |
| Shots on target per 90 | 1.61 |
| Dribble success % | 61.5% |
| Pass accuracy % | 81.1% |
It’s been said previously that £40m would secure Ferguson’s transfer, but that seems way too steep for the 20-year-old’s current form.
What Moyes needs to do is land a bargain deal and then try to make him the £40m player that he knows he can be, and hopefully, one day, a £100m player for Everton once again.
