Everton fans have spotted one obvious thing that needs to change after the Chelsea defeat.
David Moyes wouldn’t have been thrilled by Everton’s performance as he suffers back to back defeats for the first time during his return.
Jordan Pickford was on top form to keep the score at 1-0, but Tim Sherwood thought Pickford should’ve saved Chelsea’s goal.
Moyes will probably disagree and praise his number one who saved a plethora of Chelsea efforts.
But Evertonians chose to pin their focus on something else that infuriated them.

Everton fans want set-piece coach Charlie Adam sacked
In an away game against a team like Chelsea, Everton would have to rely on set-pieces.
They got plenty of them during the encounter, but not a single time did they look threatening, which points the finger at Charlie Adam.
It’s a drastic change from Sean Dyche, who has had so much success with set plays, but Moyes has been frustrated with Adam’s set-pieces
The Everton fans now share the same frustration as the Toffees have lost that threat they once had under Dyche.
Swarming over to X, fans are fuming with Adam and send a clear message to Moyes and The Friedkin Group.
@stetansley said: “Set pieces… What has agent Charlie Adam done to us…”
@Nick_1878 was very critical saying: “Sack Charlie Adam first thing Monday.”
@Craighunter67 agreed, saying: “First one out the door Charlie Adam absolutely.”
“Swear Charlie Adam has been sent in as a double agent, how have we somehow got worse at set pieces since he came in,” @mickmcSNB said.
@the_street_end made the point of: “There’s been zero improvement on set pieces, so there is zero need for Charlie Adam.”
@MarkB1878 sent a message to the owners, saying: “Petition to sack Charlie Adam.”

Moyes will know set-pieces will be key for Everton
It seems like Dyche has cemented the Toffees’ set-piece success into their DNA.
This will leave the Everton boss wanting to improve on it, as Moyes said Everton needed to improve set-pieces before he even joined.
13 goals have been scored from set-pieces this season, but only two have found the net under Moyes.
| Most goals scored from set-pieces in Premier League 24/25 | |
| 1. | Crystal Palace – 15 |
| 2. | Aston Villa – 14 |
| 3. | Everton – 13 |
| 4. | Arsenal – 13 |
| 5. | Nottingham Forest – 12 |
Whether Adam needs to go or not, Moyes has to get used to incorporating set-pieces into his style which he’ll no doubt welcome if used effectively.
Adam doesn’t seem to be the answer and the Everton fans are demanding a change.
