Everton are actively assessing the transfer market heading into the final eight days of the January transfer window.
David Moyes has been prioritising a striker and Everton did make an offer for En-Nesyri, but that deal hasn’t progressed.
The Toffees have also been heavily linked to Harry Wilson, but the suggestion is that he may wait until the summer to leave Fulham.
How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀
Everton are showing an interest…
Everton have been credited with an interest in Harry Maguire, too, with a summer move on the cards when his contract at Manchester United runs out.
With that said, supporters have been giving their thoughts on the potential signing on TalkingPoints.

Everton fans really don’t want Harry Maguire
Everton have been named as a potential destination for Maguire this summer, with Moyes holding a long-standing interest in the towering centre-back.
Everton considering a summer move for Harry Maguire, thoughts? 👀
But, that certainly wouldn’t be a popular transfer among many Everton fans, as they’ve reacted strongly to the rumour.
“No thanks. We have Branthwaite to come back from injury and O’Brien, who I believe will be our first choice pairing going forward. Tarky and Keano provide experience and cover.”
“Still a very commanding cb in the air but has no pace. Don’t need him as we have 2 top young cbs and Tarky. Sure he will go for a big pay day to another club.”
“Why the hell do we want him? We already have much better centre-backs.”
“Definitely no to Maguire.”
“Harry Maguire? Are you havin’ a laugh??”
One fan had a contrasting view: “Think he’d be another who would thrive away from Old Trafford. Would be decent on a free and would suit playing in our backline much more than United’s.”
Everton will need a replacement for Michael Keane
Michael Keane’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season, so Everton will more than likely be in the market for a replacement, unless he pens a new deal.
The Toffees could certainly do a lot worse than Maguire, and considering he’d be on a free transfer, it’d actually be a good bit of business.
The 32-year-old has experience playing in multiple European competitions, so that’d be a valuable asset to the squad.
Moyes is aiming for European qualification and will be keen to recruit players with experience at the elite level this summer, if indeed his side realise that goal.
