Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made his Everton debut on Saturday in the defeat against AS Roma.
Just a matter of days after signing for the club, David Moyes threw his latest signing straight into the starting XI.
Dewsbury-Hall played in the number 10 role just behind Thierno Barry, with Iliman Ndiaye and Charly Alcaraz either side of him.
It was a clear sign of confidence from Moyes in his £30m signing, and Everton chiefs feel Dewsbury-Hall is an instant upgrade on their other options.
On their first sighting of the former Chelsea midfielder, Everton fans were left saying the same thing about his debut for the club.

Everton fans left raving about Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s debut
Dewsbury-Hall was wowed by the new Everton stadium when he was announced earlier in the week.
And it only took him a matter of days to make his first appearance at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, in front of a capacity crowd.
For the fans watching the game, there was a lot of praise circulating about the performance of Dewsbury-Hall.
One fan kept it very simple on social media, saying: ‘Dewsbury-Hall looks very good’. With another Everton fan adding: ‘Dewsbury-Hall is going to be a big player this season for us, tidy and calm on the ball’.
Clearly, it was a strong opening display from the 26-year-old, with one fan saying: ‘Liking the look of Dewsbury-Hall already’. Whilst someone else said: ‘Feels like Dewsbury-Hall could be a fan favourite by the end of the season, purely on the basis he’s a CM who wants to go forward’.
Dewsbury-Hall connected well with Barry during the first half and put the ball on a plate for the striker, but he was unable to provide the finish.
A really positive impression was made on this fan, who said: ‘Dewsbury-Hall is going to be huge for us this season. he just has that bit of classy quality. Big fan already’.
Time will tell whether he lives up to his value, but this fan liked what he saw against Roma: ‘Dewsbury-Hall knows how to play ball, he’s going to be an unbelievable signing.’
