Speaking to TNT Sports, Crouch has admitted he is still waiting to be convinced by the Toffees after a fairly steady start to the summer.
“There are teams that have struggled; they’ve lost players. Look at West Ham, I think Wolves can get dragged in. Have Everton strengthened enough? How will they fare in their new stadium?” he said.

Crouch was impressed with Everton last season, but it is apparent he is not taking the same excitement into the 2025/26 campaign.
