Nine days remain in the January transfer window, so it could be a very hectic period for Everton.

David Moyes has been ‘fixated’ on signing a striker all winter, and Everton’s recruitment chiefs have been assessing a number of potential options.

Ivan Toney has been linked to the Toffees, and so too has former number nine Romelu Lukaku in recent days.

If YOU were in charge, would you bring Lukaku back to Everton? 🤔

He only has 18 months left on his contract at Napoli… 👀

Now, one of Everton’s other rumoured targets is firmly in the sights of Premier League rivals Fulham, who have just submitted a bid.

Fulham submit bid for Everton target Ricardo Pepi

Everton have been exploring a deal for Ricardo Pepi after his prolific season in the Eredivisie with Dutch giants PSV.

Pepi has netted 11 goals in just 10 starts this season, and he has a good record for the US national team, too.

That said, Everton have now been overtaken by Fulham in the race to land his signature, as Fabrizio Romano understands the Cottagers have submitted a fresh £27m bid.

Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs, so the Toffees will have to act fast if they’re to sign Pepi this month.

Although, it seems as though the focus may now be on other areas of the pitch.

Everton will surely prioritise a Jack Grealish replacement

For months, Everton’s focus has been on trying to sign a new striker amid Thierno Barry and Beto’s struggles.

But with Barry now finding form and after Jack Grealish’s injury news, surely a new winger is now the top priority.

Grealish could be out for the whole season as the stress fracture to his foot may require surgery, so there is a pressing need to sign a replacement.

Fulham winger Harry Wilson has been heavily linked to the Toffees, but the early indications are that he may wait untill the summer to leave Craven Cottage.

How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀

Wilson is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, so he will be able to negotiate a higher wage and a signing on bonus.
