Everton’s need for a wide player has just increased after news of Jack Grealish’s injury, and today there has also been a claim about Harry Wilson.
Jack Grealish is set for an extended period out, after he sustained a foot injury.
It is still unclear when exactly this happened, but it’s believed the England international has a stress fracture.
Who would you play at left wing in place of the injured Jack Grealish? 🤔
The winger is reportedly facing THREE months out – do Everton need to sign a replacement?
Reportedly, Grealish could be out for three months.
We will see what Everton say next, but certainly, the club could now do with going into the transfer market.
In recent days there have been links to a few wide players.
Patrick Wimmer is thought to be on Everton’s radar, while Noa Lang has also been mentioned.
Harry Wilson is also of interest to Everton – but a new claim today may not be welcomed by Everton recruitment officials.
Harry Wilson’s preference amid Everton transfer links

Wilson’s contract at Fulham is expiring in the summer.
So naturally, there is a lot of interest in him – especially given how good a season he is having.
Everton were linked with Wilson before the news filtered through about Grealish. And now, there seems an even greater need to sign someone like him.
But the Yorkshire Evening Post have reported today that Wilson is currently ‘leaning towards’ leaving Fulham in the summer.
Potentially, there will be even more options available to Wilson in the summer, and there is also a good chance he’ll get a bigger signing-on bonus from his next employers.
This stance from Wilson is not so ideal for Everton in light of the Grealish news.
The Toffees now need a creative winger, and Wilson really would be a fine addition and make for an ideal replacement.
Everton should still look to sign Harry Wilson in the summer
It’s a shame for Everton that Wilson appears set on leaving in the summer, given the increased need for a player just like him.
That said, the Toffees should still look to get involved this summer when Wilson becomes a free agent – assuming he does sign an extension at Craven Cottage out of the blue.
How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀
Everton are showing an interest…
The Wales international has developed into a fine player and has built quite the spectacular goal catalogue in recent years.
He’s a creator, a goalscorer, a set-piece specialist and a hard worker. It would almost be foolish of Everton not to try and sign him.
