Everton are expected to offload several players this summer transfer window.
Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gana Gueye are both out of contract, and the likes of Adam Aznou and Tyler Dibling could depart on loan.
Nathan Patterson is another Everton first-teamer whose future seems uncertain, as David Moyes has left him on the bench for most of his 18 months in charge.
How would you feel about Hayden Hackney becoming Everton’s first signing? 🤩
Patterson is set to go to the World Cup with Scotland, so his stock could boost over the next month or so.
That said, there is already interest in the young full-back, as Bologna are keeping a close eye on his situation.

Nathan Patterson could replace Bologna right-back
According to Italian outlet La Repubblica, via CalcioGenoa, Bologna are alert to Patterson’s situation as they could sell Brooke Norton-Cuffy when the window opens.
Norton Cuffy, who has been linked to Everton previously, is likely to leave amid interest from Inter Milan, Juventus and clubs in England.
Bologna boss Vincenzo Italiano has already earmarked Patterson as a replacement, having explored a deal to sign him in January.
Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔
Wolves, Burnley and West Ham have all lost their Premier League status…
The Everton right-back recently admitted he’s endured ‘a lot of downs’ on Merseyside, so he’ll probably. be pushing for a move.
Moyes has hardly given Patterson a chance despite impressing when he has come into the side this season.
Everton are plotting a £10m move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, so they’ll want to wrap that deal up before sanctioning Patterson’s sale.
Perhaps it would be wise to wait until after the World Cup to sell, as Patterson could go on to have a really good tournament, thus attracting a bidding war.
