Everton have been targeting a move to sign West Ham United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka all window.
David Moyes has been desperate to sign a right-back since he returned to the club 18 months ago, and Wan-Bissaka was high up on his shortlist.
Wan-Bissaka had an impressive World Cup campaign with DR Congo, so his stock is pretty high at the moment despite West Ham’s relegation.

It’s understood that the 28-year-old is valued at around £25m by the Hammers, which seems very lofty.
That said, Everton have now made a fresh decision on the potential deal, and it’s the correct one.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton have decided not to pursue a deal for Wan-Bissaka this summer.
The Toffees have moved on to other targets, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Djed Spence emerging as a top priority.
The Friedkin Group are absolutely right to look elsewhere, as Wan-Bissaka wouldn’t have been an inspiring signing in truth.
Yes, he’s a fabulous defender, but going forward he’s very limited, which has shown to be a problem for Jake O’Brien.
Moyes needs an attack-minded right-back this season as there was far too much reliance on Iliman Ndiaye to create down that flank, which he failed to do towards the back end of the campaign.
The centre-forwards, whether it be Beto, Thierno Barry or a new signing, need good quality crosses into the box to improve their numbers.
Football moves in cycles, and the current trend has seen flying full-backs come back into fashion, so Everton can’t be left behind.

From Spence, to White, to Norton-Cuffy, there have been links to so many players so far…
Spence would be a good buy, but Spurs want £35m to sanction his sale, so that will be a tough deal to do.
Genk’s Zakaria El Ouahdi is also a target for Moyes and would be a great fit, as he was involved in 18 goals for the Belgian giants last term.
AS Roma are looking at El Ouadhi, too, so clearly the Friedkins really like his profile for both of their owned clubs.
It’ll be interesting to see which club takes priority.
