Everton’s summer transfer window is yet to get off the ground with the first instalment already complete.

David Moyes was able to maintain his side of the deal in keeping the Toffees a Premier League side for the 2025/26 campaign.

Now, it is time for the Friedkins to work their magic in the transfer window for Everton.

It is believed Everton are looking to address four key positions this summer, but they are yet to add any new faces.

Carlos Alcaraz has been signed permanently following his short-term loan deal from Flamengo, though.

However, that could soon change with one of Everton’s summer targets now giving Moyes the green light to come and sign him.

Vladimir Coufal shares transfer answer with Everton interested

Everton are keen to sign Vladimir Coufal this summer, but it has become apparent they are not alone in the race.

With interest also there from Fulham and Wolves, the Czech international has now shared his transfer wish ahead of the window reopening.

According to Team Talk, Coufal has decided he would like to reunite with Moyes on Merseyside.

The 62-year-old was the manager who signed him for West Ham from Slavia Prague back in 2020.

It has been known for some time now that Coufal wanted to remain in England due to his family being settled after five years.

But the Blues have now been given the green light to go and sign him with the defender set to become a free agent.

Everton are set to lose numerous players at the end of their deals this month, but this could be a real opportunity to pick up a free addition.

Everton need to build their squad depth

Although the window had only been open for 10 days, Everton had still seen a number of players snub the Blues.

Everton missed out on Liam Delap who chose to move to Chelsea where he would be able to play Champions League football.

But now it is time for the Toffees to begin building their squad for next season and the Friedkins are needing to build a strong base on Merseyside.

With so many players leaving as free agents, Everton are going to need to add quality and not just numbers to really push on in the Premier League.
