Everton are keen to sign a new winger for David Moyes this summer.

Having signed Thierno Barry to rival for the starting spot up front, Everton will now be looking to provide the Frenchman with some creative teammates.

Options from the wing proved a real issue for Moyes last season, with Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom massively underwhelming.

Despite this, Everton have been unable to bring in any further attacking signings.

Moyes is pushing Angus Kinnear for more signings, but any new faces will now risk missing the USA pre-season tour.

The message couldn’t be clearer from the 62-year-old, with Moyes demanding a new winger at Everton since January.

And there is now one very exciting young winger who Everton have placed on their radar.

Everton add Southampton’s Tyler Dibling to transfer list

Attacking additions are being prioritised at Everton despite some early injury concerns for Jarrad Branthwaite in defence.

Clearly, the right wing is a position which needs addressing, and the Toffees could be looking to land one of the most in-demand talents about.

According to Paul Joyce, Everton have added Southampton winger Tyler Dibling to their radar this summer.

Following the Saints’ return to the Championship, the youngster has seen his future on the south coast come under real scrutiny.

There may be one major obstacle, with Southampton valuing their talent extremely highly.

It has previously been claimed that Southampton would value Dibling at £55m this summer, if they are to sell him.

That would be a huge price to pay, and likely not in Everton’s reach, but the Toffees are still showing an interest in the 19-year-old.

Everton hit Takefusa Kubo stumbling block

With attacking additions being eyed, Everton have shown an interest in Takefusa Kubo.

Also reported by Joyce, it is believed the price tag put on Kubo by Real Sociedad is proving an issue for Everton.

The 24-year-old was in action on Thursday evening for the Spanish outfit during their own pre-season tour in Japan.

What will be interesting to see is whether Dibling could be an option given the huge asking price previously put on his name by the Saints.

Kubo would provide vast experience, but Dibling may be more realistic given Southampton’s recent relegation.
