Everton have been one of the form teams in the Premier League since David Moyes rejoined the club in January.

Everton have picked up the seventh most points in the division following Sean Dyche’s shock sacking.

David Moyes has been able to shift away from Dyche’s pragmatic approach, which has given the likes of Beto and Iliman Ndiaye a new lease of life.

However, even the Scotsman hasn’t been able to prevent the Toffees from matching an unwanted Premier League record, which they now share with Leicester City, who will be playing their trade in the Championship next season.

Everton have failed to score in 14 games this season

Under the previous regime, Everton really struggled in front of goal as they failed to score in a whopping 11 games.

As such, Dyche was given his marching orders by the Friedkin Group and in came Moyes, who’s been able to change their fortunes in front of goal.

However, Moyes’ side have still blanked in three games, as they did against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

So that’s taken their tally to 14 for the season, with no team in the entire Premier League failing to score in more games.

Everton and Leicester share the unwanted record.

Everton clearly need attacking reinforcements this summer

It’s very evident that Everton’s attack needs a major overhaul this summer transfer window and the Friedkin’s are prepared to give Moyes a healthy budget.

Everton already have their eye on Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, who has a £30m release clause in his contract.

West Bromwich Albion’s Tom Fellows has been closely monitored by Moyes after his impressive season in the Championship.

No player in the second tier has laid on more assists than Fellows’ 13, so clearly he’d be an exciting pickup.

A busy summer window awaits the Toffees.
