Everton playmaker Iliman Ndiaye has been rumoured with an exit.

Manchester United and Manchester City are showing an interest in Iliman Ndiaye, with Enzo Maresca keen to make him his first signing at the Etihad Stadium.

It has been reported that the Toffees will assess Ndiaye’s situation after the World Cup, so there is a chance they could sanction his sale.

How much would it take for Everton to accept a bid for Iliman Ndiaye? 💷

Ndiaye has rejected several contract offers from the club, but isn’t believed to be pushing for a move away.

However, a fresh transfer development suggests Everton may be planning for life without the Senegal international.

Everton’s pursuit of Jarrod Bowen could indicate Iliman Ndiaye’s departure

It has been reported that David Moyes is pushing Everton to make a bid for Jarrod Bowen following West Ham United’s relegation.

The Toffees could launch an opening offer worth around £20m, although West Ham are believed to be demanding £40m.

Evidently, if Bowen were to make the switch to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, he’d join as a regular starter on the right.

That would see Ndiaye drop out of the team if Jack Grealish re-signs and occupies the left, so perhaps the club are open to selling him for the right price.

If Everton were steadfast on keeping Ndiaye, they certainly wouldn’t be in the market for Bowen and would instead look for a squad option who’d be happy as back-up.

Indeed, the Friedkin Group will want substantial offers to sanction the 26-year-old’s sale, and it has previously been reported that he’s valued at £80m.

Ndiaye is unlikely to command that sort of fee, but it would be realistic to expect bids in the region of £60m.

At that price point, Everton should seriously consider moving him on and signing Bowen in a significantly cheaper deal.

That’d be smart business by the Friedkins, as many would argue Bowen is a pretty notable upgrade given his numbers.
