Everton could receive a welcome financial boost this summer if Anthony Gordon leaves Newcastle.
The Toffees negotiated a 15% cut of any profits Newcastle make from selling the England international when agreeing to let him join the Magpies for £40m back in January 2023.
SPORT say Barcelona have approached Gordon as Newcastle hold out for a fee of £80m – a sum the Spanish giants may not reach given their financial limitations.
However – according to TEAMtalk – PSG have now entered the race, and the wealthy Parisians could ensure Everton receive a decent chunk of cash from the aforementioned clause involving Gordon.
Does Kevin Thelwell deserve more credit for this? 👏

PSG enter Anthony Gordon battle and could spark bidding war
The UEFA Champions League finalists believe Bradley Barcola could depart this summer, so are on the lookout for potential replacements in attack.
TEAMtalk say Gordon is an option for Luis Enrique, claiming that the French giants have already gathered information about the 25-year-old ahead of a potential swoop.
The report adds that Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested, so there is potential for a bidding war to break out. The higher the fee, the more cash Everton will bank from that 15% cut of the profits.
Bayern Munich are eager to sign Gordon too – reports say the Everton academy graduate is even a priority target for Vincent Kompany this summer.
TEAMtalk state the Newcastle No.10 is open to moving overseas as well, so the chances of him sealing a big-money switch away from Tyneside this summer would appear to be high.
Gordon left Everton in bitter circumstances – even refusing to train in the days leading up to his move to Newcastle.
