David Moyes already looks set to seal his first signing as the new Everton manager after being appointed on Saturday morning.

Change is unfolding at Everton with the month offering some real developments on Merseyside.

Sean Dyche has now been replaced by Moyes as Everton manager following The Friedkin Group’s takeover in December.

Everton are eyeing two signings this month, with a new midfielder and forward on their radar.

Clearly, Everton are in need of some improvement having only won three games in the Premier League all season.

The Scotsman has a matter of days before Everton play next in the Premier League, and he could well have a new face at his disposal.

Everton one step away from signing Ernest Nuamah

In recent days, Everton have shown a real interest in Ernest Nuamah from Lyon with a bid expected to land.

With the Friedkins keen to bolster their attacking options, a development has emerged.

According to journalist Santi Aouna, Everton are now just one step away from landing Nuamah as Moyes’ first addition.

An agreement between all parties is said to almost be in place as the new owners seem to be wasting no time on Merseyside.

Nuamah is a player Everton have admired for a long time now with the Toffees showing interest back in the summer.

With two games coming up next week in the Premier League, Everton fans could well be set to welcome another new face to Goodison.

Everton set to land Jack Harrison upgrade

It has also been claimed Everton have eyed a move for Randal Kolo Muani in what would be a massively ambitoious deal.

However, it seems as if Nuamah could now be headed for Merseyside over the coming days to provide much-needed attacking force.

Jack Harrison’s Everton future has been questioned with the winger failing to provide a single goal contribution all season.

In Nuamah, the Toffees have a winger who will likely lift the fans off their seats which is certainly something Harrison does not.
