Everton will face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup later today and will be desperate to end a four-game losing streak, here’s our predicted XI.
The FA Cup is back and with it comes fresh hope from every side involved of a cup run, and Everton will be no different.
The Toffees reached the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup already this season where a painful penalty shootout loss saw Fulham knock them out.
The FA Cup brings fresh hope, however, and the Toffees will find themselves facing off against one of the Premier League‘s most out-of-form teams.
Crystal Palace have won just one game in nine and will also be without their standout player Michael Olise for this game.
But ahead of the fixture, Everton have their own injury concerns as highlighted by Sean Dyche.

Everton team news vs Crystal Palace
Coming into this one, four Everton players are set to miss the game while one is seen as being ‘touch and go’ according to Dyche.
Abdoulaye Doucoure is a doubt for the game as he continues his recovery from a recent injury. Dyche said it’s likely to be a decision made on the day, but it wouldn’t make sense to rest him.
Idrissa Gueye is another who’s out injured however is also potentially heading to AFCON and so he won’t be playing against Palace.
Dyche also explained that Dele Alli and Ashley Young are both out as they continue recovering from their injuries.
Besides these absentees, Dyche should have a full selection to choose from.
Everton predicted line-up vs Crystal Palace
Jordan Pickford is a shoo-in between the sticks. He’s one of the first names on the teamsheet and absolutely has to start in this one against Palace.
The defence returns to a back four with James Coleman and Vitaliy Mykolenko on the right and left back slots respectively.
Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski then form the two centre-halves, as Michael Keane is dropped.
Going into midfield it’s a first start for 19-year-old Jenson Metcalfe who starts in a three next to James Garner and Andre Gomes.
Arnaut Danjuma gets a chance to start on the wing as Dwight McNeil is rested and Jack Harrison starts on the right.
Up front Beto gets the nod here ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and will be hoping to impress as Everton are linked with making a new striker signing.
