Everton could now see the transfer of one of their summer targets collapse with the interested club set to pull out of the proposed deal.

It has been a busy summer for Kevin Thelwell and Sean Dyche at Everton with five new signings having already come through the doors.

However, there is still time for more players to arrive before the deadline at the end of next week.

One of the biggest questions surrounding the Toffees this summer has been their options up front with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Everton future hanging in the balance.

The Blues have signed Iliman Ndiaye already but the Toffees did not do themselves any favours over the weekend as they failed to find the back of the net against Brighton & Hove Albion.

An opportunity could be about to arise for Everton who are potentially seeing one of their summer targets become available again.

Everton could make late move after Armando Broja development

Everton have shown a real interest in signing Armando Broja from Chelsea this summer with the striker’s future in London looking bleak.

However, Ipswich Town looked set to secure Broja‘s services this summer with a £30m deal in place for the Albania international to make the move to Portman Road.

But that may have just changed after an update has emerged on Saturday morning.

According to Jacob Steinberg, Ipswich are now on the brink of pulling out of their proposed move for Broja.

It is claimed the newly-promoted side have experienced paperwork issues which now has the deal on the verge of collapsing.

The journalist claims Everton remain interested in signing Broja from Chelsea and with Ipswich now considering other options.

Everton could land ‘sensational’ striker in Armando Broja

Broja is a striker who has been hailed with a lot of big praise over the years with the youngster expected to have a ‘sensational‘ career.

However, he is yet to really show that in the Premier League with his opportunities at Chelsea extremely limited.

Across his 66 appearances in the Premier League, Broja has only been able to provide a return of eight goals.

But it has to be caveated that those appearances have largely come from the bench across his time at Chelsea and his various loan spells.

At £30m, Broja would certainly still prove a risky signing given he is yet to show his full potential in the Premier League, but his upside could be worth the risk.
