Everton’s summer transfer window has certainly been a lively one but there is still time for some considerable changes to be made on Merseyside.
So far, Everton have already seen four new faces land at Goodison Park this summer with Sean Dyche surely pleased with the business done.
However, it has to be remembered the Toffees have lost a big asset in Amadou Onana departing for Aston Villa last month.
But there may be some concerns that more business is needed given the Blues have endured a fairly dismal start to their opening three friendlies.
And there is one player who Everton are still concerned could depart Merseyside over the coming weeks with plans in place to cover the possibility.

‘Fantastic’ player could still leave Everton this summer
The majority of the summer window has seen Jarrad Branthwaite‘s future at Goodison questioned following an impressive 2023/24 campaign.
Manchester United have shown strong interest in Branthwaite this summer but the Toffees has stood strong in their valuation.
Everton have already greenlit one big sale when they sold Onana to Aston Villa for a fee in the region of £50m.
But it seems as if another big player for Everton could still depart the club over the final weeks of the window.
According to The Athletic, anything is still possible in the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.
The Toffees are said to be aware of the interest in their 27-year-old striker with Newcastle United having already failed to land him.
Options are said to remain on the table for the former England international with Everton having already eyed potential replacements.
Having said that, the Blues are also aware all of this could turn completely on its head if Calvert-Lewin was to suddenly ink a new deal.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin could still sign new Everton contract
Now into the final 12 months of his contract on Merseyside, Calvert-Lewin has still been tipped to potentially sign a new deal at Everton this summer.
What a real shock that would be considering it seemed the player was keen to make the move when Newcastle came calling earlier in the window.
Although the ‘fantastic‘ Calvert-Lewin has been far from prolific over recent years, losing him just two weeks before the new season kicks off would be a real concern.
Everton would then be forced to rush into the market and find his replacement. Fortunately, it seems a plan is in place but pulling that off is another matter.
