Everton scouts watched ‘fantastic’ player score in Europa League last night, along with Tottenham

Everton are looking to get some late business through the doors before Monday.

It has been a real mixed week for Everton who saw three big points on the weekend paired with two big injury issues.

All of this comes with the Toffees having stood still in the transfer window for the entire month.

David Moyes said no signings are imminent at Everton when speaking to the media on Friday afternoon.

It has proven a really tricky market to operate in for Kevin Thelwell who is out of contract at the end of the term.

However, Moyes’ side have clearly been trying with their scouts in action on Thursday evening across Europe.

Everton scouted FC Midtjylland’s Ousmane Diao

A number of players are set to run out of contract in the summer on Merseyside.

One of those players is Michael Keane whose future at Everton remains uncertain after interest has been shown over January.

With an eye on the future, Scouts Attending having claimed Everton had representation at FC Midtjylland vs Fenerbahce on Thursday night.

The two sides were in Europa League action with Everton scouts watching defender Ousmane Diao who even scored.

But they were not the only side in attendance, with the following also watching the ‘fantastic‘ 20-year-old:

Everton defender Jake O’Brien has impressed Moyes having been given a chance in the starting XI.

But it appears the Toffees are preparing for the future with the Senegalese defender catching the eye of clubs from across Europe.

Everton potentially preparing for Jarrad Branthwaite sale

There remains a lot of speculation surrounding the long-term future of Jarrad Branthwaite ate Everton.

Manchester United have shown an interest in Branthwaite over recent months and could return in the summer.

With Keane looking set to potentially leave in the summer, Everton will need another centre-back addition over the coming months.

However, the Friedkins could well be preparing themselves for any serious interest which could arrive for Branthwaite in the summer market.
