It is shaping up to be a busy week for Everton with the end of the January transfer window drawing nearer.
The Toffees are yet to do any business this month, with new owners The Friedkin Group having had to oversee a managerial change they weren’t initially intending on making.
Sean Dyche told The Friedkin Group he felt he’d taken Everton as far as he could, and therefore the new owners had to act.
David Moyes was chosen to replace Dyche, and the Scot now needs backing.
It’s thought Moyes will have around £40 million to spend for Everton this month, and it could be that Everton make two new signings.
There could also be outgoings, with speculation remaining over Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who’s wanted by Newcastle United, and Beto.
But one man who seems like he won’t be on the move this month is Michael Keane.
Michael Keane has had no offers to leave Everton, despite Sheffield United claim

It has been claimed by journalist Harry Watkinson of TEAMtalk that defender Michael Keane still hasn’t received any offers to leave Everton this month.
Keane started the 2024/25 season in favour under Dyche, but has been firmly rooted to the bench over the past couple of months.
The player’s contract is expiring in the summer, and therefore speculation has been rife that he could leave this month.
But seemingly, a cut-price exit is not on the cards right now.
Following recent claims that Sheffield United had made contact over Keane, Watkinson reported on Monday: “Sheffield United have not made contact over a move for Everton defender Michael Keane, contrary to reports.
“32y/o is out of contract in the summer and there are yet to be any concrete offers submitted for him this month.”
Keane leaving Everton can free up wages
It will be interesting to see what happens with Keane in the coming days, but just at the moment, a summer exit is looking more likely. But as we all know, things can quickly change in the world of football.
Keane departing this month for a cut-price fee would be helpful for Everton in terms of freeing up some wages.
He’s been on the periphery for most of the season and firmly behind James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite in the pecking order, and now Jake O’Brien could be set for more involvement at Goodison Park.
Links to new centre-backs haven’t been too plentiful recently, because Everton have done well defensively this term. Vitor Lindelof was said to be of interest to Everton in December, so perhaps Keane leaving this month could aid any pursuit of the Manchester United man.
