Everton’s finances have been completely flipped over the last 12 months under the ownership of The Friedkin Group.
It is night and day between what Everton fans witness under the previous owner and what The Friedkin Group have demonstrated so far.
The Friedkins have been praised for the first year at Everton which has seen the club propelled back into the top half of the table at Christmas.
Clearly there is still a lot of work needing to be done for Everton to get to where the Americans want them to be on a regular basis.
However, the foundations have been set for a successful future with the Hill Dickinson Stadium offering Everton huge new revenue streams.
There has now been a development involving the ownership on Merseyside that has intrigued one financial expert.
Everton shares set to be made available for sale
Over the last 12 months, the Friedkins have increased their stake in Everton with considerable cash injections put into the club.
However, Everton fans are now going to be able to invest into their club after a new development has been shared.
Finance expert Paul Quinn has taken to social media to share how Everton fans are able to purchase their stake in the club over the coming weeks.

“Interesting that Asset Match are holding an auction for Everton shares running from 5th January to 18th February 2026,” he said.
“I have no idea what price the shares will be exchanged at given the most recent issues of shares at £175.”
The Friedkin Group have just seen their premium access account rise to over £1.1billion, which has suggested around £330m freshly injected into the club.
Positive changes have been made as the owners have demonstrated their commitment to making big improvements on Merseyside.

During their opening 12 months, the Friedkins have really impressed Leon Osman, who’s noticed much improved stability.
And those improvements behind the scenes have translated to better results on the pitch.

However, this is where it is going to get harder for the Friedkins at Everton as they now need to improve a much better Everton side to what they inherited.
Everton were really struggling under Moshiri but there are now signs that the Blues could pull off something special.
Under the Friedkins, Everton no longer have any PSR concerns, but the standard of the squad is now already so much higher than what it was just 12 months ago.
