Everton fans might have forgotten about a certain player who has had his injury struggles since joining the club.
David Moyes will have plenty of competition in positions next season, as the whole squad hasn’t been unearthed since his return.
Dwight McNeil is someone who is yet to be utilised under Moyes, as the winger’s impact will only strengthen what is an already successful system.
McNeil said he’ll be ‘back soon’ for Everton, but Moyes will struggle to fit the 25-year-old in his plans at the moment.
However, there is another player who could provide serious competition in midfield upon his return.

Tim Iroegbunam update as it’s positive news for Everton
Tim Iroegbunam hasn’t exactly made his mark on the club since his £9m move from Aston Villa in the summer.
The midfielder made Toffees fans happy as Iroegbunam returned to Everton training after three months and has since featured in Everton’s last six games.
Now, the 21-year-old will be looking to impress Moyes, as the Scotsman could prefer the youngster to his current midfield options.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Iroebugnam talked on how he coped during his injury but more importantly, how he’s feeling ready for the challenge.
“I was out for four months so when I came back he was a few games in,” Iroegbunam said.
“I was always watching and when I came back, I was feeding in to what he was asking of the midfield players and the team, so I’ve been just taking each day as it comes and working hard.
“It’s step by step for me but there’s more to come from me. I’m all good now from a fitness point of view, there are no problems there.”

Iroebugnam can provide Everton with something different under Moyes
With the current options available at Everton’s disposal, Idrissa Gana Gueye and James Garner have done a fine job.
Gueye has impressed at Everton, giving more reason why the midfielder should be the main choice in midfield, but Iroebugnam has something that these options lack.
What Gueye and Garner impress with is their tackling and passing, but Iroegbunam can provide a presence in midfield, much like Marouane Fellaini under Moyes.
Standing at 6’0, the young bruiser can attack and defend, which Everton fans are yet to see, but under Moyes, he can certainly transform into a promising talent.
