Everton’s predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest as David Moyes makes two changes from Burnley draw

Everton will travel to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night for another difficult Premier League fixture.

The Toffees have now fallen to 12th in the table after earning just one point in their last three games.

However, they can take confidence from their last victory – a 3-0 thrashing of Forest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier this month.

Everton will be without several key players, but David Moyes could still make two changes from the draw with Burnley.

Is David Moyes too negative? 🤔

Everton’s backline should remain unchanged from the 0-0 draw against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Pickford will start in goal, with a centre-back pairing of Michael Keane and James Tarkowski in front.

Meanwhile, Jake O’Brien and Vitaliy Mykolenko have been Everton’s first-choice full-backs for most of the season so far.

The absences of Idrissa Gueye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall leave Moyes with almost no choice but to play James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam in central midfield.

Tyler Dibling and Charly Alcaraz should also keep their places in the starting line-up, with Jack Grealish likely to return to the left wing.

Those three will support Thierno Barry, who will lead the line against Forest in place of Beto.

Jack Grealish’s return would give Everton a huge boost

Jack Grealish was absent from Everton’s last match against Burnley due to illness.

Moyes has not confirmed whether he will be available for the trip to Nottingham, but he will surely want to select him.

The England international has arguably been the Toffees’ best player this season and was sorely missed against Burnley.

Everton are a much bigger offensive threat when Grealish is in the team, and he could be the difference against Forest.

Sean Dyche’s team will be hard to break down, and the winger is exactly the type of player who can create something out of nothing.
