Newly-promoted Ipswich Town have earmarked Everton’s Tim Iroegbunam as a summer target.

Movement in the midfield is expected at Everton over the coming weeks, with one arrival already on the radar.

Everton are in talks with Hayden Hackney to make him the first signing for David Moyes this summer.

How would you feel about Hayden Hackney becoming Everton’s first signing? 🤩

The Blues already have a number of midfielders at their disposal, which could lead to someone like Iroegbunam making way in the coming weeks.

Ipswich Town eyeing Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam

Everton News columnist Alan Myers has called for Iroegbunam to play more under Moyes next season.

That may not be possible given some of the interest the 22-year-old is already receiving ahead of the summer window.

A report from TWTD has suggested Ipswich are eyeing Iroegbunam as an option to potentially bolster their options in the middle of the park.

Don’t hold back, let us know who you want gone this summer 👋

The Tractor Boys are said to be long-term admirers of Iroegbunam, who is valued in the region of £20m.

Uncertainty remains at Portman Road over their manager’s future, with Kieran McKenna being eyed as Fulham’s replacement for Marco Silva.

Taking to TalkingPoints, a lot of Everton supporters remain uncertain on Iroegbunam’s potential following a turbulent campaign in and out of the starting XI.

However, if a player like Hackney is to be added, it may well suggest that one of the current options will have to make way.

Idrissa Gana Gueye’s future at Everton remains uncertain, but Iroegbunam will surely be demanding regular first-team football going into the new campaign.
