Everton have seen some considerable changes over recent months with The Friedkin Group putting their own stamp on the club.

Some fans may have been left slightly disappointed by how Everton performed in the January transfer window.

However, there will be a lot more optimism about the start David Moyes has made on Merseyside.

The 61-year-old manager has been able to turnaround Everton’s struggles which were experienced under Sean Dyche.

Everton have been able to put together three consecutive wins in the Premier League from Moyes’ opening four games.

Just weeks out from being sacked by Everton, one Championship fanbase is already clamouring to get Dyche into their club.

Derby County fans want Sean Dyche to replace Paul Warne

Dyche’s mistake of outcasting Jake O’Brien has been exposed over recent weeks under Moyes with the Ireland international excelling in the starting XI.

Everton’s relegation worries have been eased over the last month since parting ways with Dyche.

However, just hours on from sacking Paul Warne, Derby County fans have taken to social media clamouring for Dyche to be appointed at Pride Park.

One fan had three names in mind, @lewis_everett11 said: ‘Edwards, Cooper or long shot but Dyche. Who knows if we could get any but lets see’. Whilst @kylerowland90 also added: ‘Weird timing, but we’ll take it. Is Sean Dyche still after a job or what?’

Three names seem to be a trend among fans, @joshuacallis_ also said: ‘Macca, Dyche, Cooper, or Edwards’. Alongside Steve Cooper, @ramsopinion also clamoured for Dyche: ‘Only two options for me. Cooper or Dyche. Both going to get results in the short term which is what we desperately need.’

Dyche’s time at Everton will be viewed very differently among some fans with it not exactly ending in a positive manner.

Another fan has urged the Derby board to hire Dych: ‘I would actually do anything for Sean Dyche to be announced next Derby manager…’ said @lukepingu. And @bigsheep10 also added: ‘Good decision by the board. Unfortunately just had to be done/ Who now? Dyche?”

Everton players have been delighted to see Dyche sacked

With Everton struggling around the bottom end of the table, it was apparent change was needed on Merseyside with Dyche’s role becoming untenable.

It was a decision which has went down with a number of the players at Everton.

O’Brien has hinted at Dyche’s sacking being a positive on a number of occasions after finally being given an opportunity under Moyes.

The Toffees look to be in a much better place on and off the field without Dyche as the players have responded well to Moyes’ return.

Everton fans have also criticised Dyche for the lack of options which he provided striker Beto with.

Whether he would be willing to take the dive down into the Championship will be an interesting question for those at Derby.
