Everton manager David Moyes has been speaking to the media on Friday ahead of their FA Cup clash against Bournemouth.
The January transfer window is now over and done with and there may well be a sense of more could have been done.
Carlos Alcaraz was Everton’s only signing in the winter market.
And even the addition of the the Argentine midfielder went right down to the wire with Everton being forced to submit a deal sheet.
Moyes played a big role in signing Alcaraz with the 61-year-old agreeing an eight-game time frame for his obligation to buy ahead of the summer.
Everton have a number of injury issues going into the game on the weekend and Moyes has shared whether Alcaraz will be ready to go on Saturday.

David Moyes says Carlos Alcaraz could play in Everton vs Bournemouth
Ahead of the game on the weekend, Chris Sutton expects Moyes to make changes to Everton’s starting XI.
And one player who will be keen to go will be Alcaraz who joined earlier in the week.
Speaking from Finch Farm on Friday ahead of the FA Cup fourth round clash, Moyes admitted the midfielder is ready to go against the Cherries.
“I think he’s ready to play. He looks match fit. I think the biggest thing is just getting him used to the players and not putting huge pressure on him,” said Moyes.
“He’s got Premier League experience so I don’t think the speed of the game should shock him.”
“Well, if you’ve seen him play his energy will always be something he’s known for. I think he’s youthfulness at the moment is still important.”
Alcaraz has been training with Everton since making the move from Flamengo this week.
However, whether he has shown enough to earn him a spot from the starting XI is another question altogether.

Moyes admits Alcaraz signing permanently is not guaranteed
Alcaraz has only joined on an initial loan deal which could be made permanent by the Toffees over the coming months.
However, Moyes was keen to share that his arrival on Merseyside does not mean he will be staying permanently.
The Everton boss was keen to make it very clear that the midfielder still has a lot to prove at Goodison if he wants to remain at the club beyond this season.
“I’m quite pleased to get him as it will give us a chance to bring him in and have a look at him,” he added.
“It’s not something that has to be guaranteed, at the moment. But if he hits the criterias then we would be in a position where we would bring him to the club.”
