Everton have sold some gems over the years but David Moyes’ old club, West Ham United, could be signing one who really got away.
West Ham will be a rival to Everton next season as Moyes looks to get one over his former employers.
The Scotsman enjoyed European success with the Hammers, which he will be hoping to replicate with Everton in the coming years.
After this success, the Toffees could formulate some transfers for their current players, as Everton want Tomas Soucek.
It’s certainly a possible deal that could happen this window, but there is a shocking claim involving a former Everton star and West Ham, which could develop.

West Ham could sign former Everton player Ademola Lookman
It’s likely both clubs will target the same players this summer, but Ademola Lookman is not someone expected to be returning to Everton.
Instead, the winger could sign for West Ham in a remarkable deal, as it has also been previously claimed Liverpool wanted Lookman for £51m.
The former Everton winger has come on leaps and bounds since leaving Goodison Park, and Sacha Tavoleri confirms Lookman’s potential shock return to the Premier League, but in the form of the Irons.
Lookman joining has logic behind it, as Tottenham are pushing to sign Mohammed Kudus, which leaves a spot free for West Ham to sign the Nigerian winger as a ‘priority’.

Everton might as well put their hat in the ring for Lookman
As mentioned, the Hammers and Everton will be looking at similar players due to their Premier League status.
This brings reason why Moyes could put Everton’s hat in the ring for the Nigerian after Lookman failed to make it on Merseyside, but obviously, he’s done pretty okay at Atalanta.
There have been no concrete links, but the Toffees can make their mark if West Ham do eventually bid.
Lookman was publicly shamed at Atalanta, which could suggest an exit is on the cards, and if it came to returning to the Premier League, Everton would surely be his number one destination.
Of course, former Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini was the one who shamed him, and Gasperini left Atalanta so Lookman might not leave after all, but it’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
