The summer transfer window is approaching and Everton are expected to be busy.
David Moyes will be handed a healthy budget with PSR restrictions set to be lifted at the end of the financial year in June.
Everton’s squad is due to undergo major surgery with the hope of pushing up the Premier League table next season.
James Garner reckons the Toffees should finish in the top 10, whilst there has been some chatter about a European push.
Anyhow, they’re expected to be a much stronger force, especially with the new recruits and with that said, it’s coming to light that a West Ham star may reunite with David Moyes on Merseyside.

Tomas Soucek warns Graham Potter he could leave for Everton
Since rejoining Everton, Moyes has been keen to sign a goalscoring midfielder in the ilk of former player Maroune Fellaini.
It’s understood Moyes is keen to sign West Ham’s Tomas Soucek, with the pair previously working together in the capital.
Now, according to MF Dnes, the 30-year-old has threatened to leave the Hammers if Graham Potter continues to name him on the bench.
Tomas Soucek has been dropped to the bench in three of the last four games and is now tempted to make the switch to Goodison Park.
The Czech Republic international, who is under contract until 2027, wants to stay loyal to West Ham, but he may be left with no choice then to leave in search of regular football.
Leeds United could rival Everton for Soucek
If indeed Soucek decides to end his West Ham career, it’s thought Leeds United will position themselves to land his signature, too.
Daniel Farke’s side have just been promoted to the Premier League and the San Francisco 49ers’ ownership are incredibly wealthy, so they’d have no issue in meeting his price tag.
The Hammers paid £19m for Soucek in 2020, so given he’s still under contract for another two years, they’ll likely be hopeful of recouping most of that fee.
After all, he’s netted seven Premier League goals from midfield this term, so his stock remains high around East London.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Yellow cards | Minutes |
| Premier League | 30 | 7 | 2 | 8 | 2.163′ |
| EFL Cup | 2 | – | – | – | 149′ |
| FA Cup | 1 | – | – | – | 90′ |
| Total | 33 | 7 | 2 | 8 | 2402′ |
All options remain on the table for Soucek at the moment and with five games remaining of the season, Potter could still convince him to stay, if indeed he selects him in the starting line-up.
West Ham travel to Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend, so there may be some Everton bosses keeping an eye on the teamsheet.
