Everton are already making plans for the summer transfer window.

David Moyes is desperate to sign a centre-forward with Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to leave Goodison Park.

Armando Broja is due to return to his parent club Chelsea, so Everton will need reinforcements at the top end of the pitch.

As such, it’s understood the Toffees are keeping close tabs on Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, who’s netted 12 Premier League goals this term.

Moyes is also keen to add at full-back, with Leicester City left-back Victor Kristiansen linked with a move to Goodison Park.

And now, Fulham have opened talks to sign a right-back who the Everton boss wanted during the January transfer window.

Fulham set to open talks to sign Everton target Kyle Walker-Peters

Everton were showing a serious interest in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters during the January transfer window.

Moyes was in the market for a right-back and made initial contact with the Saints to find out his valuation.

But ultimately, the Toffees decided to keep their powder dry for the summer, so they could reignite their interest over the coming weeks.

But, they’ll now face competition, as Fulham are set to open talks to sign the right-back, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.

“Fulham are interested in signing full-back Kyle Walker-Peters when his contract at Southampton expires in the summer,” Sheth wrote on his X (Twitter) page.

“Fulham are expected to open talks with his representatives at the end of the season and are aware there will be competition for him.”

Everton appear to be more focused on signing Tariq Lamptey

It seems the boat may have sailed on Walker-Peters, as Everton have turned their attention to Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey.

It’s understood that the Toffees are one of the favourites to land Lamptey’s signature, along with European giants Ajax.

The former Chelsea defender is out of contract at the end of the season and is set to be available on a free transfer.

So, with all that said, it seems Nathan Patterson’s future at Everton could be up, as Moyes clearly doesn’t trust him.
