Everton took all three points from their game down on the south coast against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
The game was decided by an Iliman Ndiaye penalty which the Senegal international netted in the first half.
David Moyes’ side have now taken six points from their last two games and created a seven-point cushion on the bottom three.
Ndiaye even impressed the Brighton fans with his celebration after the goal which amused them.
Everton players enjoyed the post-match celebrations which saw Brighton players lose their heads.
And it seems the frustrations from the home players carried over into the post-game interviews.

Brighton’s Joel Veltman unleashes Everton dig
David Moyes has been impressed with Everton in training since the victory over Spurs and the efforts certainly paid off.
The penalty was awarded after a VAR decision against Brighton Joel Veltman after he handled the ball inside his own area.
Speaking after the game, Veltman unleashed his verdict on the decision and even had a dig at Everton’s approach to the game.
“[The penalty decision] was a long ball forward from them and I was sandwiched between two guys. I got a little push from the right hand side that moved my hand forward and the ball was there,” he told the media.
“When you fall your automatic reaction is to try to get your hands forward onto the ground before you hit your head, it was more a reaction than a purpose handball.
“[Without the handball] I would 100% have headed it or cleared it with my feet without the push, like a corner kick or something.”
It was a solid display from Moyes’ men who were able to withstand the Brighton attack in the second half.
But it is difficult to see how Veltman can argue against the decision made, perhaps he will change his mind once he gets a chance to watch it back.
Veltman accuses Everton of parking the bus
Moyes has made it clear Everton need signings in the winter market following a poor opening half to the season.
However, he will have been delighted with how his game plan unfolded at the Amex Stadium.
And it was apparent the Toffees left the Brighton players extremely frustrated with the comments of Veltman after the game.
“Everton have those qualities to how do you say it ‘park the bus’ and wait for a counter attack and at times hope for some breaks,” he added.
“We did well second half but we could not make a 100% percent chance and that is what we have to improve.”
