Everton fans and David Moyes will both be hoping to see some later transfer business done by the Friedkins.
A lot has gone on at Everton over the last month with new ownership and a change of manager all being approved.
However, David Moyes will be aware that it is not a time to stand still with Everton showing some promising signs since his return.
Everton have missed out on signing Ernest Nuamah with the Lyon forward set to remain in France for the rest of the season.
But that does not mean that Everton do not have other targets on their radar.
Kevin Thelwell has a list of Everton transfer targets and there is now one player who is on red alert over a potential move to the Premier League.

Brian Brobbey on alert as Everton show interest
Everton are looking to sign a new forward this month with their main issue this season coming in front of goal.
And there are a number of strikers who are tickling the fancy on Merseyside.
According to De Telegraaf, Everton are showing an interest in signing Ajax striker Brian Brobbey before the transfer deadline.
It is not just the Toffees who have been credited with an interest as Spurs and West Ham are also mentioned in the report.
With the striker receiving considerable attention from the Premier League, Brobbey has made a trip to London with a potential move in the works.
Everton are also keen on Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis as they look desperately for a source of goals.
But it is apparent Brobbey is keen on the prospect of playing Premier League football.
Virgil van Dijk is a big fan of Brian Brobbey
It has been a really difficult campaign for Brobbey who has struggled for regular minutes, which has translated into a lack of goals.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin impressed Everton fans on the weekend against Spurs, but he has also struggled in front of goal this season.
It could be a big risk for Everton to sign a striker who has scored one league goal this season.
But Brobbey would arrive with the approval of Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk who has previously praised his compatriot.
“I think he’s a great boy. He is a great talent and basically has everything. He is fast, strong and can finish well,” Van Dijk told RTL.
“He can be a very good weapon [for the World Cup], but it’s up to the national coach.”
