Everton’s latest season ticket update should encourage the club, but it also carries a clear message for supporters still hoping to get inside Hill Dickinson Stadium.

With a 2026/27 renewal rate of just over 97%, the number of existing season ticket opportunities falling back into circulation is likely to be extremely limited.

Everton have been able to maintain the large majority of their regular match-goers at the Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 term.

Sunday marks the final home game of the season for Everton! 😳

This comes after news of Everton increasing season ticket prices for next season amid the growing cost of living.

The maths shows how tight the window may be

Everton’s 2025/26 season ticket member base stood at 32,347.

If fewer than 3% of that group did not renew, then around 970 existing season ticket places would be expected to fall out of the renewal pool.

The figure should not be treated as a confirmed number, with the club not specifying how many opportunities will arise for fans on the waiting list.

Has the Hill Dickinson Stadium brought new problems for Everton fans? 😬

Season ticket prices are expected to rise for next season 💰

The Friedkins upset supporters by increasing season ticket prices at Everton at what was really their first opportunity since moving into the new stadium.

Two Hill Dickinson Stadium improvements are out of Everton’s hands

There have been two main issues with the new stadium for a lot of match-going supporters.

Everton played more Monday night games than any other team in the Premier League this season.

That trend is expected to roll into next season following their failure to secure a spot in Europe.

With nine sides now qualified for the three European competitions, teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Everton are set for more Monday night games.

The other issue lies with the transport links in getting to and from the stadium.

A number of fans on TalkingPoints have shared their experiences attending games at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and they have not all been so positive.

Worryingly, these two significant problems are both out of the hands of Everton Football Club.
